Does the FRP cable tray need reinforcement design?
We strongly recommend the use of reinforcement design when your project meets any of the following conditions:
Large span requirements: When the bracket spacing exceeds 2 meters (the conventional spacing is 1.5-2 meters), the lack of reinforcement may cause the middle of the bridge to fall.
Heavy load scenario: When carrying high-voltage cables or multi-layer laying (total weight > 50kg/m), reinforcement can significantly improve the load-bearing capacity.
Vibration environment: In places such as power plants and subways, reinforcement can effectively resist mechanical vibration and extend service life.
We provide two professional reinforcement structures for you to choose from:
Bottom longitudinal reinforcement: adopt "I"-shaped structure to improve bending resistance (suitable for spans within 3 meters).
Composite reinforcement structure: side wall transverse ribs + bottom longitudinal reinforcement, designed for ultra-wide (> 600mm) or ultra-span (> 3 meters).
If your project budget is limited, we can also meet your needs in the following ways:
Optimize bracket spacing: shorten from 2 meters to 1.2-1.5 meters
Upgrade material thickness: increase the standard 4mm wall thickness to 6mm
Layered load-bearing design: distribute the load through multi-layer bridges
