Aluminum Cable Tray

Before installing the aluminum cable tray, you need to check the materials and tools first, confirm that the specifications and quantity of the tray and accessories meet the requirements and there are no surface defects, and prepare tools such as tape measures, levels, and impact drills; then conduct on-site surveys to determine the cable direction, plan the tray path, and measure the installation height; finally, determine the bracket spacing based on the tray length and load, and mark the installation position.

During installation, first install the bracket, which can be fixed by expansion bolts or welding. After fixing, it needs to be calibrated to ensure horizontal or vertical. Then assemble and lay the tray. When installing the straight section, place the tray on the bracket and connect it with bolts or buckles, and reserve expansion joints; use finished accessories or on-site cutting connections at turns and branches; set up protective sleeves and seal when crossing walls and floors. After the tray is installed, it needs to be grounded. Ensure reliable grounding through jumper copper wires or special grounding terminals. The grounding trunk line also needs to be laid and connected parallel to the tray. Finally, install the cover in time to ensure that it is tightly fastened and fixed.

There are many precautions during the installation process. It is necessary to control the tray load and calculate the cable filling rate to avoid overloading; perform anti-corrosion treatment on the tray in special environments to avoid contact with alkaline materials; arrange and fix the cables neatly when laying them, and hang signs at branches and turns; take safety precautions during construction, and pay attention to regulations for high-altitude operations.

After the installation is completed, it is necessary to check the integrity of the tray connection, bracket, grounding and cover, and perform insulation tests on the cables to ensure that there are no faults. A comprehensive inspection shall be carried out at least once a year to clean up debris, tighten connectors and apply anti-corrosion coating to ensure stable operation of the system. The actual operation shall be combined with the engineering drawings and site conditions, and guided by professionals when necessary.
