Hot-dip galvanizing

Immerse the steel plate in molten zinc liquid (about 450°C) to form a uniform zinc layer (usually ≥65μm).

Forming

The galvanized steel plate is made into a bridge (trough type, ladder type, tray type, etc.) through stamping, bending, welding and other processes.

When installing a pre-galvanized cable tray system, a complete system of accessories is required to ensure installation quality and performance. These accessories are mainly divided into connection, support, fastening and grounding, terminal plugging and other auxiliary accessories, each of which has its specific functions and application scenarios.

Connection accessories are key components to ensure the continuity of the cable tray system. Connecting pieces (connecting plates) are used for docking and fixing of bridge sections, usually with galvanized steel plates and bolts; variable width connecting pieces are used for transitional connections of bridges of different widths. Horizontal elbows and vertical elbows are used for turning in the horizontal and vertical directions, respectively, with common angles including 30°, 45° and 90°. Tee and four-way accessories realize branch connection of cable lines, while expansion joints are used to compensate for the expansion and contraction deformation of bridges caused by temperature changes to prevent structural damage.

Support accessories provide structural stability for the entire bridge system. The bracket arm (support arm) supports the bridge frame by fixing it on the wall or column. There are two types of single arm and double arm. The column is used as a vertical support and is usually height-adjustable to adapt to different installation environments. The hanger is used for ceiling suspension installation and needs to be used with expansion bolts; the cross arm is mainly used for ladder bridges to enhance the lateral load-bearing capacity; the bracket base is the ground fixing point of the support system.

Fasteners include bolts, nuts and washers of various specifications, all of which need to be galvanized to prevent rust. The grounding system is an important guarantee for safe operation. Copper braided belts or galvanized flat steel are usually used as grounding wires, and grounding clamps are used to achieve reliable electrical connections. Cable clamps are used to fix cables to prevent them from shifting or loosening.

The terminal head is used to close the end of the bridge frame to prevent the cable from being exposed and damaged; the wall sheath protects the insulation layer of the cable when it passes through the wall; and the fireproof plugging material is used to plug the hole through the wall of the bridge frame to meet fire protection requirements. These accessories not only provide physical protection, but also improve the safety level of the system.

Auxiliary accessories include identification plates, shockproof brackets and cable ladder crosspieces. Identification plates are used to mark the cable direction and information for later maintenance; shockproof brackets can reduce the impact of equipment vibration on the bridge; crosspieces are specifically used for ladder bridges to prevent cables from sagging.

When selecting accessories, special attention should be paid to key factors such as material matching, load-bearing capacity, fire protection requirements and grounding specifications. All accessories should be made of the same material as the main body of the bridge (pre-galvanized), the load-bearing capacity of the support should be determined according to the actual load, special fireproof accessories should be used in the fireproof area, and the grounding system must comply with relevant electrical safety standards. Reasonable selection of accessories and standardized installation and construction are important guarantees to ensure the long-term and stable operation of the pre-galvanized cable bridge system.
