Attentions when installing cable trays
Several points about the precautions when installing cable trays:
(1). Appearance inspection
When the cable tray enters the construction site, the following materials should be submitted: product factory certificate, provincial and municipal quality inspection station regular inspection report and relevant technical appraisal documents, etc. Cable tray plate thickness should meet relevant requirements. The coating surface of hot-dip galvanized cable trays should be uniform, without defects such as overburning, dust hanging, and partial non-galvanized. Electrostatic spraying should be flat, smooth, uniform, and not peeling, without bubbles or blisters. The bridge itself should be flat, without distortion and deformation, and the inner wall should be smooth and free of burrs. The surface of the bridge weld should be uniform, without defects such as leaking welding, cracks, and burn-through.
(2). Installation position of cable trays
When the bridge is laid horizontally, the height from the ground should generally not be less than 2.5m. When the bridge is laid in multiple layers, a certain distance should be left between the bridge layers for the purpose of heat dissipation, maintenance and anti-interference. When the cable tray is laid parallel to various pipelines, the net distance should comply with relevant regulations.
(3) Installation of support brackets
The quality of the support brackets of cable trays should comply with the current relevant technical standards. When the cable tray is laid horizontally, the support span is generally 1.5~3m. When it is laid vertically, the fixed spacing should not be greater than 2m. The horizontal height difference between two adjacent bridge brackets should not be greater than 10mm, and the vertical deviation of the vertical center line of two adjacent bridge brackets should not be greater than 20mm.
